My neighbor Shirlene is a real bitch! She thinks that just because her husband Dale makes a couple more dollars a year than my Skeeter that she is in a higher class of society than us. It’s only so the folks in the Elgin trailer court right outside Chicago, Illinois will think her lot looks better than mine! Which ain’t gonna happen til her side windin’ husband Dale gets that run down old el camino off the lawn. Skeeter keeps tellin’ them that an el camino ain’t classy less it runs. Although the squirrels and coons would no longer have a place to birth there babies if they removed it, but still. I get me a couple of them geese that you dress up on yer lawn, she gets a set of pink flamingos, Skeeter puts an American flag out in the walkway, Dale out does him with a confederate flag, we have a possum roast, they have a pig roast. What in tarnation is this become? Now I ain’t one to compete with kin folk, but somethin’s gotta give here.
