I jumped off the bus with Chicago Title Loans

After commuting for years from my apartment in Lakeview to Deerfield for four years, I was happy to get a job downtown.  But taking the bus and the El were a drag, and I figured out I could bike instead along with the thousands of other bike commuters I saw along the lake and Halsted Street.

The trouble was I needed $1500 for a bike up to that kind of riding (I plan to do this in winter too).  But I declared bankruptcy in 2007.  That means I not only have bad credit, I have toxic credit.  And, no credit cards and no extra cash lying around.  Getting the money for that bike looked challenging.

So I went on the Internet.  I did a search for “auto bad credit loan title” and “no credit check loan” and “fast cash.” That’s how I found Chicago Title Loans. No storefront operation on Clark Street necessary for this – it’s all done online. The online application is idiot-proof — I took only 15 minutes – and I discovered even my 2003 Mazda could get me the $1500 loan, no sweat.

I bought the bike the next day (money is sent by EFT to your bank account). Two days later, I started biking to work and I haven’t used the CTA for work ever since. In six months of biking, five days a week, I have actually lost 20 pounds.  I even quit my gym because I was losing weight more this way (savings: $70/month).

Never hesitate taking out a loan when it can save you money in the long run.
