I married a computer wizard. He’s kind of a geek, but he’s not bad to look at, and a good provider for our family. He obeys whatever I say. I had to distract him one day, so I gave him a computer magazine that featured a lot of new gadgets, yet to be released in the market.

That kept him busy for some time, just long enough for him not to know I was on my laptop working out a little issue.  I had accidentally smashed the front bumper of our family car. The problem was, we didn’t have car insurance anymore.  He’s a keen driver and a critic of my driving, and yes, the accident was due to texting on the phone while driving. So I just didn’t want to let him know what happened or notice that it was a $400 repair. For a couple of days I had to remember to park in the garage, rather than the sidewalk.

I managed to cover the expense with the help of a Chicago car title loan. I’ve also heard of Evanston, Glenview, Oak Lawn, Justice, Des Plaines, Berwyn, Cicero, and Lincolnwood title loans, but the application process with Chicago Title Loans amazed me. It was so easy to do from my laptop. I paid it off with the money that I got shortly after, and my husband knew nothing about it. So the bottom line is, if you marry a computer geek, gadgets are a great way to distract them.
