I wanted it to be perfect. How do you really show a girl how much you love her. I told her every day since I met her that I love her. But what I really want is to keep telling her every day of the rest of my life that. I knew I wanted to be with her since the minute I met her. What else is there then to know you were meant to be with someone. I wanted to get her the perfect ring. And I was determined I would.

But I’ve been having some financial troubles lately. There is no way I would be able to afford it. I mean I’ve been working at my new job for only three weeks now. I know I’ll be making money sooner than later, but for now I’m making nothing. I’m just floating on.

I was taking my kids with me. That was my major problem. I was taking them with me while I went shopping at macy’s. Normally it isn’t a big deal. I mean I’ve done it before. Now I knew this was wrong right away and I was about to stop them, but this stupid saleswoman was so interested in making the sale that she kept saying “just give me one more second Elizabeth.” Who the hell is she to call me by my first name? Then I give her one more second and I turn around and yes exactly what I was afraid of happened. The knocked over a Waterford jar. Pure Crystal. $1400.

And I turned around and the saleswoman said “So I see you’ll be taking home some crystal today, will that be cash or credit.” At this point I should mention that I flipped out on her. That was about the point when they got the manager and I was told that I would have a lawsuit against me if I didn’t pay. I couldn’t pay there at that time.
